Bigfork
Overview
Bigfork sits where the Swan River meets Flathead Lake—Bigfork Summer Playhouse packs Electric Avenue in summer, marinas and cherry stands fill the warm months, and the village stays walkable between galleries and the bay. Kalispell (~18 mi west) covers flights and big shopping; Whitefish (~34 mi north) covers Glacier ski traffic. Most visitors still eat dinner back in the valley after long park runs—west Glacier is about an hour by car.
